Tomorrow is election day.

We’ve been listening to people debate over who would be the best president for this country for a loooooong time. For crying out loud, I was pregnant with my daughter during the first debates LAST summer. Remember how ridiculous those were? A dozen people from the same political party all lined up in a row, saying the same thing, but slightly different?

Boy am I glad that is over!

Tomorrow you can vote for whom you believe is best fit to lead our country. And guess what?

Regardless of who wins, the sun will set tomorrow night and it will rise again on Wednesday.

God can use anyone however He wants and He is ultimately in control. Neither candidate is a messiah for America. There is but one Messiah and He is not only for Americans. He’s for the WORLD.

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 3:20

  1. YES! Thank you for posting this Dana!

  2. Thank you so much for this wonderful reminder!! I am so thankful that God is always in control, no matter how badly we humans mess things up down here, LOL!

  3. I am looking forward to staying up late and watching the election results. Extra knitting time for sure! I am ready for it to be over and cautiously optimistic.

  4. Amen.

Although I wish you could tell the Australian TV stations. All the comercial channels are having permanent live coverage of the election and its not even for our country.

(At least yesterday, they were covering an interest rate cut and Melbourne Cup (google it).)

  5. AMEN! You’ll have to read my blog post from today, Dana.
