Good Reads

The following is a list of books I have read, am currently reading, or can’t wait to read!

This is Meb’s Book- Run To Overcome. A fabulous & inspiring read that you will finish in a few days- it’s that good! In short, Meb and his family are AWESOME. Like super awesome. The kind of people that you’d love to be friends with, the kind of people that inspire you to be all that God created you to be. Meb was born in war-torn Eritrea and came to the United States as a child. He has since then become one of the top distance runners in the world, winning a silver olympic medal in Athens and the NYC ING marathon in 2009 (which we got a chance to see those medals when we met up with Meb and his family last year).

Perfecting Ourselves to Death: The Pursuit of Excellence and the Perils of Perfectionism by Richard Winter. This is a great book! Blogged about here: Perfect, just perfect.

Redemption by Karen Kingsbury and Gary Smalley. I love ALL of Karen’s books, but the Redemption series is really amazing. I think that Gary Smalley’s expertise on family relationships really helps Karen navigate through the beginnings of the beloved Baxter family.
